The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for Our area which is in effect from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM Tuesday. Accumulations of 4 to 6 Inches of Snow is now possible for our area and even higher amounts can be expect from this system. The Heaviest snow will be late Tuesday morning through Tuesday afternoon. Temperatures will be dropping as the day progresses into the teens. Roads will be snow covered if not treated and will become slippery. The Combination of snow and blowing snow will reduce visibility to below one-half mile at times. If you don’t need to travel tomorrow, do not travel unless it is an emergency.
A Winter Storm Warning means heavy snow is occurring or will be occurring in the next 24 Hours. Significant amounts of snow are forecasted for this event that will make travel very dangerous.
